The body of a young man abducted from Islamabad’s F-6 area has been recovered from Mardan, while police have arrested a key suspect along with a female accomplice, according to Beyond Time News.
Police confirmed that the victim appeared to have been tortured before his death. His body has been shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination.
Victim Identified as 30-Year-Old Farrukh Afzal
The deceased was identified by his family as 30-year-old Farrukh Afzal. His relatives said he was kidnapped in front of his father when armed men attacked him outside his home.
According to Beyond Time News, the incident took place late at night when the victim was returning home and stepping out of his vehicle.
Family Claims Delay in Police Response
The victim’s family alleged that he was abducted despite repeated cries for help. They claimed that neighbours and family members tried to intervene, but the armed suspects fired shots and fled with him.
A relative said the incident happened in Islamabad’s F-6/1 area, near the Red Zone, raising serious concerns about security in the capital.

An FIR was registered at Kohsar police station on the complaint of the victim’s father. According to the report, four to five armed individuals forcibly took the young man after opening fire.
Police later confirmed that one of the main suspects and a female accomplice were arrested from Swat. The vehicle used in the kidnapping has also been recovered.
Search for Remaining Suspects Continues
Authorities said investigations are ongoing from multiple angles, and efforts are being made to track down other individuals involved in the abduction and killing.
