Kuwait City: Kuwait Municipality has disconnected electricity to five properties in Farwaniya Governorate for violating bachelor housing regulations.
According to Beyond Time News, the action was taken during an inspection campaign by the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department in coordination with relevant authorities.
Officials identified multiple violations during field inspections and issued legal notices against property owners for non-compliance. In addition, 15 warnings were issued in the Omariya area as part of the same campaign.
The Municipality confirmed that inspection drives will continue to ensure strict enforcement of housing and municipal regulations.
Kuwait Airport Operations Continue Safely
Kuwait International Airport remains fully operational under precautionary security measures, according to Duaij Al-Otaibi.
According to Beyond Time News, the measures are in place to ensure passenger safety while maintaining smooth airport operations, despite minor procedural adjustments.
As part of the arrangements, boarding bridges are temporarily suspended and passengers are transported to aircraft via buses. Authorities are reviewing the situation for a possible return to normal procedures.

Additional facilities have been introduced for elderly passengers and individuals with special needs, including wheelchairs, elevators, and dedicated support services within the terminal.
