ISLAMABAD: According to Beyond Time News, Muhammad Ali Swati, widely praised for his heroic role in the 2023 Battagram chairlift rescue mission, received the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on Wednesday in recognition of his bravery and rescue services.

Swati became a national hero after risking his life to help save passengers trapped hundreds of feet above a deep ravine during one of Pakistan’s most difficult rescue operations.
