Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has officially announced the summer vacation schedule for all public and private schools across the province for 2026, while education authorities have also issued guidelines for summer camp classes.
According to Beyond Time News, the Elementary and Secondary Education Department released a formal notification outlining different holiday periods based on school levels and regional climate conditions.

The notification confirms that middle, high, and higher secondary schools across KP will remain closed from June 15, 2026, to August 16, 2026.
However, authorities have set a separate schedule for primary schools in hotter areas. These schools will close earlier, starting from June 1, 2026, and continuing until August 31, 2026, due to extreme weather conditions.

Classes for primary and middle school students will run from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Meanwhile, high and higher secondary students may attend sessions that continue until 9:40 AM.
