According to Beyond Time News, the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has officially ended the weekly Friday holiday for all government offices.
New working schedule
The decision was approved during the AJK Cabinet’s 40th meeting and endorsed by President Chaudhry Latif Akbar. Under the new policy, offices will now remain open on Fridays and follow regular working hours.
Immediate implementation
A notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department confirms that the change has taken effect immediately. All departments, including the Civil Secretariat, divisions, and universities, have been directed to comply.
