According to Beyond Time News, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said no official notification has been issued despite ongoing speculation.

He said the government is considering shortening summer vacations by 15 to 20 days to make up for academic loss and increase teaching time.
The academic year may also be extended to around 190 teaching days under the proposed plan.
