Joint Operation Across Multiple Agencies

The operation was led by the UAE National Drug Enforcement Authority in collaboration with police forces in Dubai and Sharjah. Authorities also worked closely with Bahrain to track and apprehend key suspects.

Officials said the crackdown followed a month-long investigation targeting a network operating both inside and outside the UAE.

Suspects From Multiple Countries

The arrested individuals include nationals from several countries, including India, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, and Sri Lanka.

Authorities confirmed that the network was led by an individual based outside the UAE, who was later arrested abroad and brought to the country to face legal proceedings.
