Karachi: New developments have emerged in the investigation involving alleged drug trafficker Anmol alias Pinky, who has made several claims about an alleged bribery network linked to law enforcement officials and people connected to her former husband.
According to Beyond Time News, investigators are reviewing the statements made by Anmol Pinky during ongoing inquiries. Authorities have not independently confirmed the allegations so far.
Allegations of Bribery and Illegal Payments
Anmol Pinky claimed that officials repeatedly detained her brother and later released him after receiving bribes.
She alleged that individuals connected to the Anti-Narcotics Force received around Rs10.5 million on different occasions to facilitate releases.
The accused also claimed that her former husband, Rana Nasir, had close ties with certain officials that allegedly influenced legal proceedings.
Claims About Karachi Narcotics Network
According to Beyond Time News, Anmol Pinky accused Rana Nasir’s brothers, Rana Mansoor and Rana Shahzor alias Sultan, of involvement in Karachi’s illegal narcotics trade.
She further alleged that drugs were sometimes stored at lawyers’ offices and chambers because authorities were less likely to conduct raids at those locations.
Investigators have not publicly confirmed these accusations, and no formal charges related to these specific claims have been announced.
Police Stations Also Named in Allegations
Anmol Pinky also accused officials from Darakhshan, Gizri, and Boat Basin police stations of accepting large amounts of money in bribes.
She referred to a 2024 case involving her brother Shaukat, who was reportedly arrested by Boat Basin police.
The accused claimed that a police official identified as Kamran allegedly abducted motorcycle riders and extorted money from them.

Extortion Claims Under Investigation
According to Beyond Time News, Anmol Pinky alleged that authorities or individuals linked to the incidents collected up to Rs25 million through extortion after her brother’s arrest.
