APHC thanks Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day tomorrow

 

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed profound gratitude to the people and Government of Pakistan for observing the Kashmir Day, tomorrow, the February 5th, as a mark of solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar appreciating Pakistan’s unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support to the legitimate and indigenous struggle for the UN-mandated right to self-determination and against Indian illegal and forcible occupation of their motherland.

The statement emphasized the dire circumstances faced by the oppressed Kashmiri people, living under the yoke of Indian imperialism. He drew world’s attention towards the severe political injustices and atrocities inflicted by India through massive deployment of its over one million troops in the occupied territory.

He asserted that lasting peace in South Asia hinges on settlement of the Kashmir dispute in its historical context.

Meanwhile, posters again reading “Thank You Pakistan” appeared in various areas of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the territory. The posters, featuring the flag of Pakistan, were seen in several parts of the valley expressed gratitude to the people of Pakistan for effectively advocating the case of the Kashmiri people at international forums.
