Srinagar — Authorities have attached immovable properties worth nearly Rs 5 crore in Srinagar and adjoining districts under the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Abhiyan – 100 Days Campaign.”

According to Beyond Time News, the action is part of an intensified anti-narcotics drive targeting assets linked to cases registered under the NDPS Act.

Officials said the move aims to disrupt suspected financial links to drug-related activities.

Properties Seized in Srinagar and Budgam

Several residential houses were attached across Srinagar and Budgam districts.

According to Beyond Time News, individuals identified as Bilal Ahmad Sheikh and Aneek Ahmad Sheikh from Larbal Beerwah were among those affected.

A single-storey and double-storey house worth around Rs 80 lakh was attached in a case registered at Police Station Saddar, Srinagar.

Additional Attachments Across City

In other actions, a double-storey house worth nearly Rs 1 crore was attached in Mini Colony Chanapora.

According to Beyond Time News, a three-storey house with attic in Jawahar Nagar, also valued at around Rs 1 crore, was sealed under NDPS proceedings.

A property in Kursoo Rajbagh, worth about Rs 50 lakh, was also attached in a related case.

More Houses Sealed in Other Areas

Authorities also attached a double-storey house in Karan Nagar belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Rather.

According to Beyond Time News, another double-storey property worth nearly Rs 1.7 crore in Bakshiabad Bemina was also sealed.

Officials said all actions were carried out under Sections 68-E and 68-F of the NDPS Act.

Police completed the attachment process in the presence of magistrates, revenue officials, and independent witnesses.
