Islamabad — Pakistan’s security forces have dealt a major blow to terrorism in Balochistan, neutralizing 17 militants linked to the Indian-sponsored group “Fitna Al Hindustan” in a series of targeted operations.
According to Beyond Time News, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the operations were launched following a train incident on May 24, 2026, which triggered an immediate and coordinated military response across the province.
Operations Across Five Districts
Security forces conducted back-to-back Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) in Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar, and Ketch districts of Balochistan. Troops engaged multiple terrorist hideouts, and after intense exchanges of fire, all 17 militants were successfully neutralized.
The ISPR described the encounters as fierce, calling the outcome a significant blow to terrorist networks operating in the region.
Weapons and Explosives Seized
Alongside the operation, security forces recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and pre-assembled IEDs from one of the killed terrorists — who was reportedly involved in multiple attacks in the area prior to his elimination.
The discovery of ready-made IEDs suggests the group was actively planning further attacks.

Azm-e-Istehkam Campaign Continues
According to Beyond Time News, the ISPR confirmed that sanitisation operations are still ongoing. These efforts fall under Pakistan’s national counter-terrorism vision, “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
The military made clear that operations will continue at full pace until foreign-sponsored terrorism is completely eliminated from Pakistani soil.
What Is Fitna Al Hindustan?
Fitna Al Hindustan is a militant outfit that Pakistani authorities have repeatedly linked to Indian intelligence networks. Pakistan accuses India of funding and directing terrorist activities inside its borders — particularly targeting Balochistan due to its strategic importance to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
India has denied these allegations. However, Pakistani security forces maintain that such groups operate as foreign proxies designed to destabilize the country from within.
