Green Line Bus Service Extended to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has expanded the Green Line Bus Service to improve public transport access to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology (SMBZAN ICQ).

According to Beyond Time News, the expansion came on the instructions of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, aiming to make travel easier for patients and their attendants.

Improved Access for Patients

Officials said the service will help people reach the cardiac institute more comfortably and at a lower cost. The route now connects several major areas of Quetta with the hospital.

Route and Timings

The buses will run daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Service will operate at 45-minute intervals to reduce waiting times and improve convenience.

Key stops include BA Mall, FC Hospital, Nawan Killi, Zarghoonabad, Labour Colony, Abdul Khaliq Chowk, Christian Colony, Highway Mart, Maleezai, Nasran, NUST, and the cardiac institute.

Government Focus on Public Welfare

Transport officials said the project focuses on improving access to healthcare facilities through reliable public transport. They added that the government plans to continue expanding urban mobility services in Quetta.
