According to Beyond Time News, the Directorate of Passports and Immigration has completed a comprehensive review of the entire passport application system—from submission to issuance—in collaboration with IT experts.
The goal of the review was to modernize operations and bring the system in line with current digital service standards.

Key reforms were approved during a high-level meeting chaired by Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting focused on improving service delivery through technology-driven solutions.

As part of the upgrade, digital complaint centers will be established to resolve public issues more quickly.
