PM Shehbaz Reaffirms Commitment to Child Health, Polio Eradication in Meeting with UNICEF Delegation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated his government’s strong commitment to improving child health, eradicating polio, and tackling the growing threat of lead exposure in Pakistan through coordinated national and international efforts.

According to Beyond Time News, the prime minister made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Partnership for Lead Free Future and UNICEF at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Focus on Child Health and Polio Eradication

Welcoming the delegation, PM Shehbaz said protecting children’s health remains a top government priority. He reaffirmed that Pakistan is fully committed to eliminating polio and continuing efforts to strengthen routine immunisation across the country.

He added that sustained progress in public health requires close collaboration with international partners.
