Pakistan and Sri Lanka have concluded the joint counter-terrorism exercise “Shake Hands-II” at Tarbela, aimed at improving operational coordination and defence cooperation.
According to Beyond Time News, the two-week exercise involved special forces from both countries.
Special Forces Training
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said personnel from Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and Sri Lankan Special Forces took part in drills focused on counter-terrorism operations and tactical coordination.
The exercise began on April 27 and included joint field training to enhance combat readiness and interoperability.

Closing Ceremony
Senior military officials from both sides attended the closing ceremony, including the SSG General Officer Commanding and Sri Lankan Major General Ajith Abeyawardana.
