TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO: Cricket West Indies (CWI) has officially announced the schedule for Pakistan’s two-match Test series in the Caribbean, with both games set to be played in Trinidad and Tobago as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle.
According to Beyond Time News, the series will begin on July 25 and will mark Pakistan’s first Test tour of the West Indies in five years.
The opening Test will be held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy from July 25 to 29, while the second match will take place at the historic Queen’s Park Oval from August 2 to 6.
Brian Lara Cricket Academy Set for Historic Milestone
The first Test will be a landmark occasion for the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, which is preparing to host its first-ever Test match.
Cricket West Indies described the moment as a significant step for cricket development in the region and part of its broader strategy to expand international cricket across multiple Caribbean venues.
According to Beyond Time News, officials believe hosting major international matches at different grounds will help strengthen fan engagement and promote cricket throughout the Caribbean.
The second Test at Queen’s Park Oval will bring the series to one of the region’s most iconic cricket stadiums, known for hosting memorable international matches over the years.
Pakistan Looking to Rebuild Momentum
Pakistan will head into the series aiming to improve its form in red-ball cricket after a difficult outing against Bangladesh earlier this month, where the team suffered a 2-0 Test series defeat.
The Caribbean tour will be Pakistan’s second Test assignment of 2026 and an important opportunity to gain momentum early in the new World Test Championship cycle.
Team management will also view the series as a chance to rebuild consistency in the longer format and strengthen their standing in international Test cricket.

Pakistan’s Last Test Tour of the Caribbean
Pakistan last toured the West Indies for a Test series in 2021, when the two-match contest ended in a 1-1 draw.
Both teams secured one victory each in a competitive series that produced closely fought cricket between the two sides.
Cricket fans are expecting another competitive battle as Pakistan and West Indies prepare to renew their rivalry in Caribbean conditions.
