APHC urges Kashmiris abroad to expose Indian state terror, highlight Kashmir dispute

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has urged the Kashmiris living abroad to use their resources and platforms to expose Indian atrocities and raise awareness of the Kashmir dispute at both local and international forums.

According to Beyond the Time News, APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that the present dispensation in India, led by the Hindutva BJP government, is systematically stripping Kashmiris of their rights, resources, properties, and lands, while also targeting Dalits, particularly in the Jammu region.

The APHC said that the Hindutva BJP regime is pursuing a well-orchestrated plan aimed at uprooting Muslims, Dalits, and other marginalized communities in the Jammu region, similar to what it did in 1947. It urged the Kashmiris worldwide to inform the international community about Indian state terrorism, including land and property seizures, forced evictions, and arbitrary dismissals of employees. Minhas also highlighted the grab of fertile lands of Kashmiris for the controversial railway line project in IIOJK.

Minhas warned that Hindutva organizations, operating under the umbrella of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), are working to change the demographic character of the occupied territory and impose a Hindutva communal agenda on Muslim-majority Jammu and Kashmir.

The statement stressed that Kashmir has never been a legitimate part of India and its people have never accepted India’s illegal military occupation or the so-called Instrument of Accession.

The APHC said that Kashmiris are rendering unparalleled sacrifices for the sacred cause of a UN-backed plebiscite and urged the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the January 5, 1949 UNCIP (United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan) resolution, which calls for a free and impartial vote to determine the accession of the State of Jammu and Kashmir to India or Pakistan.

The statement described the situation in occupied Kashmir as volatile, with Indian forces suppressing political struggle, choking the space for resistance leadership, and pressuring leaders in jails and outside to abandon representing the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
