According to Beyond Time News, Pakistan is actively continuing its diplomatic efforts to promote peace in the region amid ongoing tensions and stalled US-Iran talks.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday held discussions with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad, focusing on the evolving Middle East situation and Pakistan’s role in supporting regional stability.

The prime minister, accompanied by senior cabinet members including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its strong partnership with China.
He expressed satisfaction over bilateral relations and emphasized continued cooperation with Beijing for peace and development in the region.
The Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and reiterated China’s support for strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional stability.

Separately, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker to discuss regional developments and ongoing diplomatic initiatives, including efforts linked to the second round of the Islamabad Dialogue.
According to Beyond Time News, both sides stressed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement to achieve a lasting resolution to the conflict.
Naqvi welcomed recent steps toward extending the ceasefire and expressed hope for positive progress from all sides involved.
