According to Beyond Time News, Turkey will return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027 after a six-year break.
The Turkish Grand Prix will once again take place at Istanbul Park and is confirmed for at least five years.
Istanbul Park returns to F1 schedule
Turkey previously hosted Formula 1 between 2005–2011 and again in 2020–2021. The 2027 return marks a long-term comeback for the race.

The announcement was marked with an event in Istanbul, where a Formula 1 car travelled from Galataport to the Presidential Complex in Dolmabahce.
The ceremony was attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
Boost for Turkey’s global sports image
President Erdogan said the return reflects Turkey’s strong commitment to international motorsport.
According to Beyond Time News, the move is expected to boost Istanbul’s global visibility and strengthen its role as a major sporting hub.
