Security operations have intensified across Jammu and Kashmir, with reports of raids, detentions, and property seizures triggering concern among residents.
Widespread Crackdown Across Valley
According to Beyond Time News, operations were launched in several districts, with a major focus on Anantnag (Islamabad). Police conducted searches at around 20 locations, with multiple teams raiding homes of local residents.
The actions have increased fear among people, with many reporting repeated searches and heightened security pressure in their areas.
Detentions Under NDPS Act
In Islamabad, at least 12 individuals were detained under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. They were later shifted to Subsidiary Jail Kehribal after approval from executive magistrates.
Property Seizures Worth Crores
Authorities have also attached properties worth around Rs 3.5 crore under what they describe as legal provisions.
In the Sangam area, two residential properties were seized, including double-storey houses and land parcels linked to local residents. These assets are valued at over Rs 2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore respectively.
Critics say such actions are part of a broader pattern of property confiscations in the region.

Claims and Concerns Over Land Actions
According to Beyond Time News, authorities have also started surveys of properties they claim were illegally acquired. However, observers argue that property seizures have become increasingly common since Revocation of Article 370.
Rights observers say these measures are affecting livelihoods and increasing public distress, especially amid ongoing search operations and demolitions.

Residents continue to report uncertainty, while rights groups and analysts say the developments are contributing to growing instability in the region.
