ISLAMABAD: According to Beyond Time News, electricity prices have been reduced by Rs1.99 per unit under the quarterly tariff adjustment (QTA), offering relief to consumers nationwide.
NEPRA Issues Notification
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) confirmed the reduction in an official notification. The revised tariff will remain applicable for June to August 2026.
The adjustment is based on the quarterly review for January to March 2026, with an estimated financial impact of Rs67.17 billion.
Applicability
The relief applies across most consumer categories, including K-Electric users.
However, lifeline consumers, incremental consumption users, and prepaid consumers are not included in this adjustment.
