ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) released 137,400 cusecs of water on Monday from major reservoirs and river stations, while total inflow stood at 132,200 cusecs.
According to Beyond Time News, the update reflects steady water management across the country’s key river systems.
Water Levels at Major Dams
At Tarbela Dam on the Indus River, the water level reached 1461.74 feet. This level is 61.74 feet above the dead level of 1402 feet. Inflow was recorded at 43,600 cusecs, while outflow stood at 50,000 cusecs.
Meanwhile, Mangla Dam on the Jhelum River showed a water level of 1161.25 feet. This is 111.25 feet above its dead level of 1050 feet. The dam recorded an inflow of 37,200 cusecs and an outflow of 36,000 cusecs.
Water Releases at Key Barrages
IRSA also reported water releases at several major points:
- Kalabagh: 91,500 cusecs
- Taunsa: 65,800 cusecs
- Guddu: 50,100 cusecs
- Sukkur: 12,600 cusecs

Flow from Other Rivers
Additional flows included 33,900 cusecs released from the Kabul River at Nowshera. From the Chenab River at Marala, 9,700 cusecs were released.
