Kuwait has intensified its crackdown on littering as part of efforts to improve cleanliness and public order across the country. Authorities say offenders may face fines and legal action.
According to Beyond Time News, the Kuwait Municipality has launched nationwide inspection campaigns to enforce hygiene rules and strengthen sanitation services.
The drive began in the Hawally Governorate, where officials are monitoring waste collection, cleaning contractors, and street vendors for compliance with regulations.

In a parallel reform, Kuwait is replacing traditional street names with numbers under Cabinet Resolution No. 666. The plan includes 591 renamed streets, 66 retained names, and 3 streets renamed after Arab cities and capitals.
