Marka-e-Haq T20 Cricket Match Celebrates Pakistan Armed Forces in Islamabad

Islamabad — The National Cricket Stadium F-7 came alive on Wednesday as the Marka-e-Haq T20 cricket match brought together politicians, celebrities, and fans to honour Pakistan’s Armed Forces.

According to Beyond Time News, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar congratulated the Prime Minister Youth Program XI on their victory and personally took part in the match.

PM Youth Program XI Win by Four Wickets

The Prime Minister Youth Program XI faced the Celebrities XI in a competitive contest. The Celebrities XI posted 185 runs in 20 overs, but the PM Youth Program XI chased it down with four wickets to spare.

PM Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, cricket legend Shahid Afridi, and prominent showbiz personalities attended alongside a large crowd of Islamabad residents.

More Than Just Cricket

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Tarar praised both teams for their performances and sportsmanship. According to Beyond Time News, he said the event was a celebration of the Marka-e-Haq victory and a sincere expression of solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces.

“The nation needs this kind of unity,” he said.

Man of the Match

Hassan Liaquat starred with 76 runs and two catches, earning the Man of the Match award and a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Trophies were presented to both teams at the close of the ceremony.
