WASHINGTON: The Embassy of Pakistan in the United States marked the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with a ceremony focused on national unity and tribute to the country’s armed forces, according to Beyond Time News.
Strong Participation from Pakistani Community
Members of the Pakistani-American community attended the event in large numbers. They expressed strong attachment to Pakistan and reaffirmed their support for the country. Patriotic songs and slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad” created a lively and emotional atmosphere.
Tribute to Armed Forces and Leadership
The ceremony honored the Pakistan Armed Forces for their role in protecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Speakers also acknowledged the civil and military leadership for guiding the country during a critical period.
Messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and other senior officials were read during the event. A defence attaché also shared a message from the Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, addressed the gathering. He said national unity played a key role during the events of May 2025 and described it as a collective national effort.
He added that Pakistan remained committed to peace but stressed that this commitment should not be seen as weakness. He also appreciated the role of international partners in supporting ceasefire efforts during regional tensions.
