GILGIT: Former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) GB President Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman has said that the party, along with allied independents, has secured a total of 11 seats in the 24-member Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.
Speaking to the media in Gilgit, he said that two independent candidates who won with PML-N support have been included in the party’s total tally.
Mixed Mandate and Ongoing Consultations
Hafeezur Rehman said the election has produced a mixed mandate, and the final numerical position of parties is still evolving.
He said discussions are ongoing with independent candidates and political contacts are continuing in different constituencies.
He added that the situation is expected to become clearer within the next one to two days.

The PML-N leader said communication gaps in remote areas and the absence of a final consolidated list from the Election Commission are contributing to the current uncertainty.
