A man identified as the son of a senior police officer was briefly detained in Karachi after an altercation with police during a snap checking operation, according to Beyond Time News.

Police sources said the incident took place in Defence Phase VII, where officers stopped a vehicle carrying a government-style number plate, flashing lights, and a hooter.
The driver, identified as Khubaib, reportedly became aggressive and misbehaved with officers. He allegedly grabbed a sub-inspector’s uniform and used abusive language during the confrontation.

Police said the suspect was taken into custody and an FIR was registered for interference in official duties. He was later released on bail after completing legal formalities.
