Lahore — The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested two suspects in connection with the ongoing Anmol “Pinky” drug case, widening the investigation into a suspected international drug trafficking network.
According to Beyond Time News, the arrested individuals are believed to be foreign nationals linked to drug operations in Lahore.
Suspects Linked to Foreign Drug Network
Sources said both individuals are reportedly Nigerian nationals suspected of involvement in an organised narcotics network operating in the city.
Investigators believe the group may be part of a wider international trafficking chain, with local links supporting its operations in Pakistan.
Probe Expanded After Digital Evidence
Authorities expanded the investigation after reviewing data recovered from the mobile phone of Anmol, also known as “Pinky.”
The information reportedly helped investigators identify additional suspects and possible connections within the network.
According to Beyond Time News, further analysis of communication records and financial transactions is underway.
Background of the Case
Anmol “Pinky” was arrested earlier this month from her residence in Lahore’s Garden area during a joint operation conducted by police and a civilian intelligence agency.
She faces charges related to narcotics possession and illegal possession of weapons in separate cases.

Wider Investigation Into Network Links
Investigators are also examining possible links between the drug network and local facilitators.
Sources say at least 12 police personnel are under scrutiny over alleged financial connections, though no formal charges have been confirmed. Officials clarified that no evidence has emerged against officers of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU).
Further Action Expected
South Zone police are preparing to question another suspect, identified as Sameer, believed to be associated with the network.
Authorities are also expected to seek an extension of his remand as the investigation continues.
According to Beyond Time News, the case is still unfolding and further arrests cannot be ruled out.
