Ume Rubab Chandio Accuses Police of Bias, Seeks Action From DIG Larkana

Dadu – Activist Ume Rubab Chandio has written a letter to the DIG Larkana Range, alleging serious bias and misconduct by local police in Kambar Shahdadkot, according to Beyond Time News.

In her complaint, she accused the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of supporting the accused in a long-running murder case involving her family.

Allegations of Police Bias

Ume Rubab claimed that local police acted in favour of the accused and failed to take action after a recent attack on farmers who support her.

She alleged that the attackers opened fire and damaged machinery, and said evidence of the incident, including recordings, had already been shared publicly.

Claims of False Case Registration

She further stated that instead of taking action against the attackers, police registered what she called a “false FIR” against her supporters.

She demanded immediate withdrawal of the case and called for action against officials she accused of siding with the accused group.

Ongoing Threats and Legal Battle

Ume Rubab also alleged that her supporters continue to receive threats following court decisions in the case.

She has been pursuing justice in the Mehar triple murder case for several years and has repeatedly challenged earlier acquittals in higher courts.
