A disturbing robbery incident in Karachi’s Karimabad area has gone viral after a video surfaced online showing armed suspects looting a jeweller. According to Beyond Time News, the footage has once again raised serious concerns about rising street crime in the city.
Robbers Target Jeweller in Karimabad
The incident reportedly took place when a jeweller was heading towards Bolton Market. Three armed men intercepted him during his commute and carried out a swift robbery.
The suspects allegedly stole:
- Rs2.3 million in cash
- One kilogram of silver
The robbery was captured on a mobile phone, and the video later circulated widely on social media.
How the Robbery Took Place
The footage shows the suspects approaching the victim on a motorcycle. In a bold move, one of them reportedly pulled out the bike’s key, forcing the vehicle to stop.
Once the victim was stranded, the armed men held him at gunpoint and snatched a helmet containing cash along with a bag filled with silver. The suspects then fled the scene with the stolen valuables.
Police have confirmed the incident and stated that a case has been registered against unidentified suspects. Investigations are currently underway.
Another Major Bank Robbery in Karachi
In a separate incident earlier, CCTV footage from a bank robbery in the Pirabad area on Manghopir Road also surfaced online, showing a highly coordinated heist.
According to Beyond Time News, armed suspects looted around Rs60 million during the daylight robbery.
