Asim Munir Warns Adversaries, Says Any Future Aggression Will Have Wider Consequences

Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said Pakistan’s enemies should avoid any miscalculation, warning that any future aggression would have consequences beyond limited conflict.

According to Beyond Time News, he made the remarks while addressing a ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ) to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, also known as the “Battle of Truth.”

He said Pakistan achieved success during the conflict last year, describing it as a moment of national pride. Quoting a Quranic verse, he said truth ultimately prevails over falsehood.

He paid tribute to the martyrs, calling their sacrifices a sacred trust and a source of national honor. He also praised the unity of the nation, saying Pakistan stood together “like a wall of steel” during the crisis.

According to Beyond Time News, he credited Pakistan’s youth for countering hostile propaganda and supporting national narratives during difficult times.

Military Preparedness and Modern Warfare

Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan’s armed forces had demonstrated strong operational capability during Marka-e-Haq, with notable performance by the Pakistan Air Force.

He stated that modern warfare now spans multiple domains, including cyber and information warfare, and stressed that Pakistan is continuously upgrading its military capabilities and strategic thinking.

He also said Pakistan’s defense approach remains focused on deterrence and peace rather than aggression.

Foreign Policy and Regional Remarks

According to Beyond Time News, the army chief said Pakistan is playing an active role in global diplomacy and claimed that international partners, including the United States and Iran, have confidence in Pakistan’s role.

Concluding his remarks, he urged national unity and public participation in the country’s development, saying Pakistan’s future remains strong and promising.
