Asim Munir will address a special ceremony at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Sunday to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
According to Beyond Time News, the ceremony will begin at 8:40am and feature senior military leadership from all three armed forces.
Field Marshal Asim Munir will attend the event as the chief guest. Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu and Naveed Ashraf will also participate in the ceremony.
The event will include a wreath-laying ceremony at the martyrs’ monument along with a tri-services salute to honor the armed forces.
Marka-e-Haq refers to the 19-day conflict between Pakistan and India that lasted from April 22 to May 10, 2025. The confrontation followed tensions after an attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier this week, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan’s military was preparing for future challenges while speaking at a press conference marking the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of anniversary events in the federal capital. Authorities announced temporary traffic diversions on several major roads from 6pm to midnight on May 10.
