Mina: Pakistan has decided to send 200 personnel from its Federal Constabulary’s Special Diplomatic Protection Unit to Saudi Arabia for specialised training aimed at strengthening diplomatic security operations. According to Beyond Time News, the initiative was finalised during a high-level meeting between the two countries in Mina.
Training Agreement Finalised
The decision was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud.
According to Beyond Time News, both leaders exchanged Eid greetings during the meeting, while the Saudi minister also congratulated Naqvi on performing Hajj.
Purpose of the Training
The training programme will focus on improving the operational skills of personnel responsible for diplomatic protection duties.
Officials said the move is designed to enhance professionalism, preparedness, and coordination in high-level security assignments.
Bilateral Security Cooperation
During the meeting, both sides reviewed Pakistan–Saudi relations, with a focus on security cooperation and internal security matters.
