Trivandrum: The Communist Party of India-Marxist Central Committee has unanimously adopted a resolution demanding immediate restoration of statehood for Indian illegally Jammu and Kashmir and restoration of democratic rights.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the resolution, adopted at a meeting in Trivandrum in the southern Indian state of Kerala criticized the BJP-led government’s push through key bills without discussion, including Labour Codes and FDI in insurance and nuclear energy.

“The BJP’s policies are detrimental to people’s interests, and attacks on minorities, women, dalits, and adivasis are on the rise,” the statement said.
The CPI-M vowed to continue fighting against the BJP and Hindutva forces, strengthening its independent stance.
