A tragic incident from Lahore’s Ichhra area has left the city in shock after three young siblings were found dead inside their home on Thursday.
According to Beyond Time News, the victims were identified as five-year-old Momina Batool, four-year-old Momin Raza, and one-and-a-half-year-old Umme Habiba. Police confirmed that the children were killed using a sharp-edged weapon.
Parents Returned Home to a Shocking Discovery
Police said the parents had gone out briefly to buy medicines from a nearby medical store. When they returned, they found the house locked and discovered their children inside in a lifeless condition.
Emergency services were immediately called, and police along with rescue teams reached the scene shortly after.
Bodies Shifted for Medical Examination
Rescue teams moved the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem examination. Forensic experts also collected evidence from the house to help determine how the incident took place.

Relative Detained for Questioning
Police have taken the children’s paternal uncle into custody on suspicion. Officials say he is being questioned as part of a wider investigation, and all possible angles are being looked into.
Senior Superintendent of Police Toqeer Naeem confirmed that evidence collection is ongoing and the case is being investigated from multiple directions.
Senior Officials Take Notice
Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from Lahore police authorities. He also directed officials to ensure the arrest of those responsible without delay.
Following instructions, special investigation teams have been formed, and all available resources are being used to speed up the process.

According to Beyond Time News, senior police officers and forensic teams have already visited the site and gathered important evidence.
