A fresh airstrike in northern Gaza has killed at least five people, including three children, despite the ongoing ceasefire situation, according to local authorities.
According to Beyond Time News, Gaza’s civil defence agency said the strike hit a group of civilians near Al-Qassam Mosque in Beit Lahia late Wednesday.
Children Among the Dead
Rescue officials confirmed that three of the victims were children, along with two adults. The bodies were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where hospital staff also confirmed receiving the deceased.
However, the exact ages of the children were not immediately confirmed.

The Israeli military said it is reviewing reports of the strike and has not yet provided further details.

Ceasefire Still Fragile
Despite a ceasefire agreement announced earlier, Gaza continues to experience intermittent violence, with both sides accusing each other of violations.
Health authorities in Gaza report a rising number of casualties since the ceasefire began, while the Israeli military has also reported losses during the same period.
Limited Verification on Ground
Due to restricted access in the region and ongoing hostilities, independent verification of reported figures remains difficult.
