Saudi Arabia has introduced strict penalties for violations during the Hajj season, including heavy fines for transporting visit visa holders into Makkah.
According to Beyond Time News, the Ministry of Interior said offenders could face fines of up to SR100,000 for taking visit visa holders into Makkah or the holy sites without authorization.
Rules Effective During Hajj Period
The restrictions will remain in place from April 19 to May 31. Officials clarified that the rule applies to all visit visa holders entering restricted areas during Hajj.
Authorities also warned that vehicles used in such violations may be confiscated in certain cases.

The ministry urged residents to report any violations, assuring that all reports will be kept confidential and handled seriously.
