Saudi authorities have announced strict penalties for violations of Hajj 2026 regulations, including heavy fines and long-term entry bans.
According to Beyond Time News, individuals found breaking Hajj rules may face fines of up to SAR 20,000, along with a ban of up to 10 years from entering Saudi Arabia.
Strict Measures to Ensure Safety
Authorities said the measures aim to ensure discipline, safety, and smooth management of the pilgrimage, which attracts millions of worshippers each year.
Minimum Age Requirement Set
Saudi Arabia has also fixed the minimum age at 15 years for Hajj 2026. Pilgrims below this age, as of May 27, 2026 (Day of Arafah), will not be allowed to travel. Airlines have been directed to strictly enforce this rule.

Medical Facilities for Pakistani Pilgrims
To support pilgrims, especially from Pakistan, authorities have planned improved healthcare services:
- 35 modern clinics to be set up in Makkah and Madinah
- Facilities to serve around 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims
- A new central clinic established in Azizia for better access
Each clinic will have 24/7 ambulance services, while trained international medical staff will ensure quality treatment.

Officials said the upgraded healthcare system aims to provide efficient and accessible medical care during Hajj, helping pilgrims perform rituals with ease and safety.
