Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has passed away. He was 71.
According to Beyond the Time News, Barrister Sultan Mahmood had been ill for several months and was undergoing treatment in the hospital.
His funeral prayers will be offered tomorrow (Sunday) at 3:00pm in Khari Sharif, Mirpur.
It should be noted that Barrister Sultan Mahmood was elected President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on August 25, 2021.
He also served as Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from 1996 to 2001.
