Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for expressing unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for right to self-determination.
According to Beyond the Time News, APHC in a meeting in Srinagar said that the observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day is a testament to Pakistan’s consistent policy, unwavering commitment, and firm allegiance to the Kashmir cause, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar said.
He said APHC reaffirmed that the people of Kashmir would continue to struggle for a just and peaceful resolution of the long-standing, UN-recognized Kashmir dispute in line with their aspirations.
APHC extends gratitude to Pakistan over support for Kashmir cause
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference meeting said, “We are grateful to the people of Pakistan and their government for always standing by the Kashmiris who have been facing the worst form of Indian subjugation in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, in a statement issued in Srinagar praised the people and government of Pakistan for their selfless and continuous support for the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.
He said the people of entire occupied Kashmiri are grateful to the people of Pakistan who have always expressed the feelings and aspirations of Kashmiris. He said on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day (February 5), a clear message has been sent to the whole world that the Kashmiri people are not alone.
Ahsan Untoo said even today, the worst human rights violations are continuing in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, demand for freedom has been made a crime as thousands of Kashmiris are still languishing in various jails of India and the territory.
He further said the ongoing atrocities by India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are a strong slap on the face of organizations claiming to protect human rights around the world.
