Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the Indian Army, during the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah to Jammu, has practically turned Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) into a military camp.
According to Beyond the Time News, the APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said the purpose of the visit of Amit Shah was to give more powers to the Indian occupation forces under black laws so that they could further harass the Kashmiri people, suppress their voice and put them in jails.
He said India is trying to hoodwink the international community that peace has been established in occupied Jammu Kashmir, while the reality is that more than one million Indian armed forces are deployed in the territory.

He said that the Indian Home Minister during his visit asked the Army, paramilitary and the personnel of Indian police and agencies to conduct more raids and operations against the Hurriyat leaders and activists so that their voices could be silenced
The spokesman said the people of Kashmir are being punished for demanding their birthright to self-determination granted to them by the international community and United Nations. He said Amit Shah also directed the Indian forces to implement Hindutva policies in the territory.
Abdul Rashid Minhas lamented that the Modi regime had repealed the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019 and since then hundred of Hurriyat leaders, activists and members of civil society have been arrested and sent behind the bars.
The spokesperson urged the international community to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and to send a representative delegation to the occupied territory to monitor the ground situation in the territory.
