Lahore – Business & National News: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the United Business Group (UBG) have extended congratulations to the nation, the government, and Pakistan’s armed forces on completing one year of Marka-e-Haq, according to Beyond Time News.
Business leaders said the occasion reflects national unity and the country’s strengthened position on the global stage.

FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh, along with regional leaders Zaki Aijaz and UBG Patron-in-Chief S.M. Tanveer, congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and top military leadership, including the Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and ISPR Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
According to Beyond Time News, they said Pakistan has gained increased respect internationally, which has positively influenced the image of the country and its passport.

The remarks were made during a ceremony held in connection with World Thalassemia Day. Business leaders used the platform to highlight the importance of public awareness about hereditary blood disorders.
They explained that thalassemia is a serious genetic condition that requires early prevention, awareness, and regular screening.
Call for Prevention and Social Responsibility
Zaki Aijaz and S.M. Tanveer stressed that the private sector must play a stronger role in supporting healthcare initiatives. They encouraged industries and business groups to take part in blood donation drives, awareness campaigns, and patient support programs.
They also highlighted the importance of marriage screening to reduce the spread of thalassemia in society.
