PSG Defender Faces Legal Battle as Appeals Court Reviews Trial Decision
Paris: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Achraf Hakimi is set to request the dismissal of a rape case against him during a court hearing in France on Friday, according to a source close to the proceedings.
According to Beyond Time News, the hearing will take place at the Versailles appeals court, where judges will review whether the case against the 27-year-old Morocco international should proceed to trial.

Hakimi is currently facing allegations of rape involving an incident reported in February 2023. A woman, aged 24 at the time, filed a complaint with police in the Val-de-Marne region near Paris.

His lawyer, Fanny Colin, previously argued that the case is based solely on the complainant’s statement. She also claimed that the investigation was limited due to a lack of medical tests and witness cooperation.
