ICT Police Conduct Combing Operation in Islamabad

According to Beyond Time News, the Islamabad Capital Territory Police carried out fresh combing operations across several areas of Islamabad under the directives of Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

The operation led to the detention of four suspicious individuals, while police teams checked hundreds of people and vehicles during the security sweep.


Areas Covered in the Operation

Police teams conducted joint operations in multiple jurisdictions, including Korral, Tarnol, Phulgran, Industrial Area, Lohi Bher, and Sumbal police stations.

Senior officers supervised the operation at the zonal level, while lady police officers also joined the teams to support thorough checking.


Large-Scale Screening Activity

During the operation, police checked 230 individuals and 128 households. In addition, officers inspected 39 hotels and 34 shops.

They also examined 197 motorcycles and 53 vehicles. Authorities shifted 20 motorcycles along with suspects to nearby police stations for verification.

Security Measures Strengthened

Police set up special checkpoints at entry and exit points of the city to improve monitoring. Patrol units and special squads remained active throughout the operation.

Officials said senior officers stayed in the field to supervise security arrangements and ensure smooth execution of the operation.


Public Cooperation Requested

The police urged citizens to cooperate during security checks. They also encouraged the public to report any suspicious activity to help maintain law and order in the capital.
