Usman Khan and Perera Change the Game
Usman Khan delivered a match-winning unbeaten 61 off 30 balls. He combined with Kusal Perera, who scored 37 off 21, in a 101-run stand that lifted Hyderabad to a strong total.
Their partnership pushed the Kingsmen well past a shaky mid-innings position and set up a defendable score.
United Fight Back Falls Short
In response, Islamabad United lost early wickets but recovered through Devon Conway, Shadab Khan, and Mark Chapman.
Chapman scored a quick 43, while Haider Ali added 31 to keep the chase alive. Later, Faheem Ashraf and Chris Green brought the equation down to six runs from the final over.
Hunain Shah Delivers Under Pressure
Hunain Shah held his nerve in the final over and conceded only three runs. That tight over sealed a two-run win for Hyderabad Kingsmen and ended Islamabad United’s campaign.
Hunain and Mohammad Ali took two wickets each, while Akif Javed, Hassan Khan, and Saim Ayub supported with one wicket apiece.
Historic Final for Debutants
The result sends Hyderabad Kingsmen into the PSL 11 final against Peshawar Zalmi. The team continues an impressive debut season run in the tournament and now moves one step away from the title.
