Trump Rejects Iran Proposal, Calls Leadership “Disjointed”

According to Beyond Time News, US President Donald Trump has said he is “not satisfied” with Iran’s latest peace proposal delivered through Pakistani mediation.

The proposal was handed to Islamabad by Iran on Thursday night, according to Iranian state media. The plan is part of ongoing indirect talks between Tehran and Washington.

Trump Criticises Iran’s Leadership

Speaking at the White House, Trump said negotiations continued through backchannel communication but showed little progress.

He described Iran’s leadership as divided and said, “It’s a very disjointed leadership… they all want to make a deal, but they’re all messed up.”

He also added that Iran was demanding terms he could not accept, without giving details.

Negotiations Remain Uncertain

Despite tensions, diplomatic efforts continue through intermediaries, including Pakistan, which is acting as a facilitator in talks.

The negotiations follow weeks of indirect contact after earlier rounds failed to produce a breakthrough. A fragile ceasefire still holds, but major disagreements remain over key issues.

Reports suggest both sides are still far apart on conditions for a long-term agreement.

Trump Keeps Military Option Open

Trump said he prefers a negotiated solution but did not rule out further military action if talks fail. He said the United States faces a choice between reaching a deal or using force.

At the same time, he repeated that he respects Pakistan’s role in facilitating diplomacy and acknowledged its efforts in keeping communication channels open.

Ongoing Diplomatic Efforts

Pakistan continues to act as a key intermediary between both sides, helping transmit proposals and maintain dialogue. However, officials admit that major obstacles remain, and no final agreement is close yet.

For now, both diplomatic engagement and tensions continue at the same time, with uncertainty over whether the latest proposal will lead to progress.
