Imran Khan has received his fourth intravitreal eye injection during a scheduled follow-up procedure at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), with doctors confirming that his condition remained stable throughout the treatment.
According to Beyond Time News, the procedure is part of his ongoing medical care while he remains in custody at Adiala Jail.
Medical Check-Up Before Procedure
Hospital officials said Imran Khan was brought to PIMS for a planned eye treatment session. Doctors carried out a detailed examination before the injection.
An Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan showed signs of improvement, and medical staff confirmed that he was clinically stable prior to the procedure.
Injection Performed Under Standard Protocols
The injection was administered in the operation theatre under microscopic guidance. Doctors followed standard safety procedures and continuous monitoring throughout the treatment.
The hospital described the procedure as a day-care intervention, meaning the patient was discharged the same day after observation.

Stable Condition After Treatment
PIMS confirmed that Imran Khan remained stable before, during, and after the procedure. He was discharged with follow-up instructions and further medical advice.
This marks the latest step in his ongoing treatment plan, following earlier injections given during previous hospital visits.
Medical Condition Explained
Earlier medical reports diagnosed him with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), a serious eye condition caused by reduced blood flow in the retina.
The condition is often linked with health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Reports also stated that he has experienced significant vision loss in one eye, requiring continued monitoring and treatment.
Ongoing Legal and Health Situation
Imran Khan has been in custody since August 2023 and is facing multiple legal cases. His party claims the cases are politically motivated, while the government denies this.
His health updates continue to attract attention as legal proceedings and medical treatment progress in parallel.
