Tehran: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that Iran’s armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any aggression, warning that any miscalculation by adversaries would lead to serious consequences.
According to Beyond Time News, he stated that the military is on full alert across all scenarios and stressed that strategic mistakes would result in severe repercussions.
Iran’s Position
Ghalibaf reiterated that Iran continues to seek regional peace and stability but will firmly defend its sovereignty and national interests if threatened.
Regional Tensions
The remarks come amid ongoing regional tensions and stalled diplomatic efforts over a possible ceasefire, with key differences still unresolved between the concerned sides.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has described the ceasefire situation as “on life support,” reflecting limited progress in talks.
