Kuwait Moves to Ease Traffic with New Public Transport and Mobility Plans

Kuwait is stepping up efforts to modernise its public transport system as part of broader plans to ease long-standing traffic congestion and improve daily commuting across the country.

High-Level Meeting on Transport Reforms

According to Beyond Time News, senior officials from Kuwait’s Interior Ministry met with representatives of major transport companies to discuss reforms aimed at improving mobility and transport infrastructure.

The meeting, chaired by Major General Abdullah Al-Wuhaib, focused on better coordination between government bodies and operators, along with upgrades to existing transport services.

Focus on Public Transport Improvements

Discussions covered improvements to bus services, route planning, passenger safety, and service quality. Authorities also emphasized encouraging greater use of public transport to reduce pressure on road networks.
