Pakistan, Canada Discuss Regional Developments

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand on Monday, during which both leaders exchanged views on regional developments and ongoing peace efforts.

Focus on peace and diplomacy

According to a Foreign Office statement, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path for resolving regional challenges. Both sides discussed the evolving situation in the region and stressed the importance of stability.

The two ministers agreed that continued engagement and communication are essential for maintaining peace and reducing tensions.
